About Unknownland

A mystical, little-known island far out at sea.

This baron land only appeared very recently, and Unknownland is far out away from Bearington and the other Bearlago islands, between Magnetic Island and Bearington. There’s a lot of empty sea after the Mave Reef and before you reach Magnetic Island going East, and then sometimes, and quite suddenly (as it depends on the tide at the time), this land springs up along with the occasional Bubblepops.

Little is known about Unknownland other than it is assumed it is an old part of Bair that drifted further away, but it has little vegetation or inhabitants, although we learn that Ana Nab is from here, and Pensa has an interest here.

Facts about Unknownland:

• Unknownland later becomes known as New Bair.
• It was meant to be a part of Pensa’s ‘landseed’ project that went right (finally), that could grow into a new island for bears to live in the future, after Bair was submerged underwater and Bubbalo was erased.
• Pensa and Ana Nab are good old friends, and Pensa sometimes can be found on Unknownland when he is on a brainstorming visit for new ideas.

Whilst trying to rush towards Unknownland after escaping Darkwood, things get a bit trippy. You could say, bananas. Only on Unknownland does this start to make sense.
